Nicci Roach is a nationally recognized strategic advisor, visionary content architect, and acclaimed curator of clout whose work bridges the disciplines of leadership, media, education, and equity. Known for her sharp insight and innovative thinking, Nicci has dedicated her career to helping organizations and individuals navigate complex challenges, identify opportunities, and accelerate meaningful change.

Nicci has served in various leadership roles throughout her distinguished career in higher education and is currently the Special Assistant to the President at a R1 Midwest higher education institution. In this executive role, she is a key partner to the president and senior leadership, driving institution-wide strategic planning, implementation, and organizational alignment. Her work includes leading cross-functional initiatives, guiding decision-making at the highest levels, and providing strategic counsel to boards and executive stakeholders.
As a consultant and advisor, Nicci supports leaders across industries and geographies—domestic and international—in navigating the intersections of influence, innovation, and inclusion. Her work has been featured in Bloomberg, where she offered expert commentary on the shifting landscape of generational retirement strategies.
A dynamic content creator and producer, Nicci is the host of the syndicated podcast In the Nic of Time (also airing on KSTL 690 AM) and previously served as the lead producer and host of a decade-long public affairs morning show on a major media affiliate. She was also the Consulting Producer for The Mama Joe Project, a multimedia initiative focused on aging and elder care.
In the classroom, Nicci brings her expertise to life as a longtime professor of undergraduate and graduate courses, including Global Diversity, Management and Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Women in Leadership. She is also a Facilitator Coach and Presenter Selection Team member for TEDxStLouis, where she mentors thought leaders to shape and share their ideas on global stages.
Nicci’s thought leadership is further amplified through her writing. She is a contributing author to the international bestsellers InHER Power InHER Wisdom: A Woman’s Guide to Overcoming Challenges and Growing Into Your Power and Women on the RISE. Her own book, Uprooted: A Poetic Journey Through Seasons of Life, captures the personal and professional evolution of a woman committed to purpose and progress.
